Verb lacks aspectual forms. ipíša ‘he’s holding on’; ipíšana čuutpamá tkʷsáy ‘he was holding out his drinking cup’; kutyaš x̣tú pinápiša ana kʷná iwáanašaša k̓ʷalálk̓ʷalal ‘but I am holding myself strongly where the bell is sounding’; áytša ipíša tímaš ‘he is sitting holding the paper’.
