Heavy; sluggish, slow, lazy. qú iwá ‘he’s slow, heavy’; qúnam wá ‘you’re slow’; qú áwšayča wáaš ‘their floor (the floor of whatever is going on) got heavy (there are bad feelings)’; čáquuk ‘hold back, halt’; tamáquk ‘weigh down, hinder’; wáquuk ‘stake down’; wáwquuk ‘peg down’ (distributive).
