Function:

Progressive aspect. Attach to the end of a verb and before tense or a pronominal suffix. new info


Examples:

  1. iwínašana ‘he was going’;
  2. iwínaša ‘he is going’;
  3. iwínašata ‘he will be going’. Used with stative verbs: iq̓ínuša ‘he sees’;
  4. išúkʷaša ‘he knows’.
