-ša

Function:

Progressive aspect. Attach to the end of a verb and before a pronominal suffix.


Examples:

iwínašana ‘he was going’;

iwínaša ‘he is going’;

iwínašata ‘he will be going’. Used with stative verbs: iq̓ínuša ‘he sees’;

išúkʷaša ‘he knows’.
