Chip; chafe, rub raw. Same as tq̓ʷɨ́x̣n. itq̓úx̣na tikáyna ‘he chipped the dish’; wásɨmtq̓ʷx̣ ‘be saddle sore (of horses)’; tq̓úx̣ni ‘chipped’. [Cf. NP /tq̓ʷqn/ ‘peel, be bald’ (vi.).]
