Seek with the heart (in shamanic healing). itmíˀawiya ‘he (the shaman) tested with his heart (to learn the cause of the sickness)’ (Jacobs 1931:170).

See with the heart. itmíq̓ananiya px̣ʷíyaš ‘he saw his (someone else’s) thoughts with his heart’ (Jacobs 1931:171).

Visualize, imagine, think of something from the past. itmítk̓iša ‘he’s thinking of something that happened some time ago’; aš kúuš átmitk̓inx̣a paamanáy ‘the way I imagine them’.

Find out telepathically. itmíšukʷana ‘he found it out deep in his heart’ (Jacobs 1931:171); átmišukʷanaš ‘I found it out in my heart’ (Jacobs 1931:171).

Tell story. ku míimi patɨmnanáx̣ɨnx̣ana nč̓ínč̓ima ‘and long ago the elders would tell the story’; áwnaš tɨmnanáx̣ša ‘now I am telling the story’; kʷɨ́łnaš k̓ʷáy ínč̓a tɨmnanáx̣ɨnkikš ‘that much further also I have told the story’; kuš k̓ʷáy áw kʷɨ́ł ínč̓a qátɨmnanax̣ɨnkikš čɨ́nči wánaki ‘and that now that much I have told about this river’.
